The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library is proud to host
the 36th Annual Needlework Show
The show features a record turnout (227 entries) of creativity and talent from Stow and surrounding communities. There are beautiful works in counted cross stitch, counted thread, embroidery, needlepoint, quilting, knitting and others from crafters age 4 to adults.

The Christmas trees and wreaths will be available for bidding on Monday, November 2. The silent auction will continue until 3 pm on Monday, November 23. The highest bidders will be notified and may pick up their tree or wreath on November 24, 4-8 pm at the Courtesy Desk or Nov. 25, 10 am – 12 pm, upstairs in the small meeting room.
Proceeds will go to the Friends of the Library, to be used for library programming
Aidan Schoenberg receives "Honesty Award" from Barb Beiling, president of the Friends of the Library. Aidan found a dollar during the recent book sale held by the Friends of the Library. He turned the dollar in to those in charge at the book sale, hoping that the owner would reclaim it.

We want to give you just one more reason to love your library. Each time you check out library materials during the month of February, you will have a chance to win a free gas card. One hundred $10 gas cards will be given away to our patrons compliments of the Friends of the Library. Cards will be awarded both at the Circulation Desk and at the Drive-Up Window. In September 2007, the Friends of Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library established an endowment fund with the Akron Community Foundation.
The endowment fund will build on a principle that will never be spent, but rather reinvested. The principal balance will generate future interest income to be used in support of the library.
If you would like to contribute to this fund, printed envelopes are available at the Friends' Informational stand near the elevator.

Donations of book and materials for the September and April Book Sales are accepted anytime at the circulation desk at the library. On Book Donation Day curb service is provided at the back door of the library. Passes for the “Friends Pre-Sale” will be given to those who donate 10 or more items.
Membership in the Friends of the Library is only $5 for individuals or $10 for an entire family. Membership applications are easy to fill out and are available at the library or online.
