Thanks to your support, the Library Foundation achieved its 2024 fundraising goal for 24-Hour Book Pickup Lockers. Now, patrons can access their holds any time – an exciting new service that is already being celebrated by library users!

This year, we’re working to raise $15,000 for additional outdoor improvements that will include:

The library's rear entrance at Elm Road — A sign at the library's Elm Road entrance

u-bend bike rack — A bike rack for the front of the library

Will you help us reach our goal? A one-time or recurring monthly gift to the Stow-Munroe Falls Library Foundation of $10, $25, $50, or beyond will support significant projects that improve the building and expand services. These are projects that fall outside the library's operating budget and transform the way people use the library.

About the Library Foundation

Your tax money pays for the day-to-day operations of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, but that's only part of the story. The Library Foundation has two objectives: to raise money to fund significant projects that enhance the mission of the library, and to build an endowment that will carry on the legacy of the library.

Foundation projects have included:

Custom book display shelving and cabinets — Custom display furniture for the library's lobby

Modular children's furniture — Furniture for the Children's Department

Divided work tables with reading lamps — Connect Zone work table

Shelving and signs in Tween Spot — Shelving and LED signs for the Tween Spot

Library vehicle — Outreach vehicle (in conjunction with the library)
