Join the Winter Reading Program for All Ages, December 18, 2023 - February 29, 2024
Get your mitts on a good book during our seventh annual Winter Reading Challenge! Beginning December 18, 2023, log into the Beanstack app or smfpl.beanstack.org and update your contact information. Then, get started logging activities (including reading) to win prizes!

Used Beanstack before?
Log in and update your account information.
Forgot your login information?
Username: Try the account holder’s first name and last name with no capitals or spaces. For instance, “janedoe.”
Password: Try “beanstack” or “password.”
If you can’t remember what email you used to set up the account, or if you’ve never had an account and need help getting started, stop by the library, call (330) 688-3295, or visit www.smfpl.org and click the chat button in the bottom right corner.
Children from Birth - Age 11
Beginning Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, log into the Beanstack app or smfpl.beanstack.org and update your contact information. Then, get started logging activities (including reading) to win prizes! Complete five activities to earn a badge. For the first five badges you earn, you’ll receive a small prize you can pick up in the Children’s Department. You’ll also receive a virtual ticket to enter our grand prize drawing with every badge you earn.
The grand prizes include:
- A Radio Flyer Scoot 2 Scooter
- LEGO Super Mario Peach Adventures starter course
- A family game night bundle
- Picasso Tiles set
- A budding artist bundle
In Beanstack, click on the ticket reward button to choose which grand prize drawing you would like to enter.
Teens Ages 12 - 17
Track activities, including reading, to earn prizes. Complete five activities to earn a badge. For the first five badges you earn, you’ll receive a small prize you can pick up in the Information Department. You’ll also receive a virtual ticket to enter our grand prize drawings with every badge you earn.
Grand prizes are:
- A $75.00 Target gift card
- A "Smitten With Reading" Gift Basket
In Beanstack, click on the ticket reward button to choose which grand prize drawing you would like to enter.
