Join the Winter Reading Program for All Ages, December 16, 2024 - February 28, 2025
Shell-A-Brate your love of the library during our eighth annual Winter Reading Challenge! Beginning December 16, 2024, log into the Beanstack app or smfpl.beanstack.org and update your contact information. Then, get started logging activities (including reading) to win prizes!

Log in and update your account information.
Forgot your login information?
Username: Try the account holder’s first name and last name with no capitals or spaces. For instance, “janedoe.”
Password: Try “beanstack” or “password.”
If you can’t remember what email you used to set up the account, or if you’ve never had an account and need help getting started, stop by the library, call (330) 688-3295, or visit www.smfpl.org and click the chat button in the bottom right corner.
Children from Birth - Age 11
Beginning Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, log into the Beanstack app or smfpl.beanstack.org and update your contact information. Then, get started logging activities (including reading) to win prizes! Complete five activities to earn a badge. For the first five badges you earn, you’ll receive a small prize you can pick up in the Children’s Department. You’ll also receive a virtual ticket to enter our grand prize drawing with every badge you earn.
Children's grand prizes include:
- LEGO DUPLO Classic Deluxe Brick Box Starter Set
- MindWare Marble Run and Add-on Set
- An explore the prehistoric bundle
- A crafting bundle
- A cozy bundle
- A family game night bundle
In Beanstack, click on the ticket reward button to choose which grand prize drawing you would like to enter.
Teens Ages 12 - 17
Beginning Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, log into the Beanstack app or smfpl.beanstack.org and update your contact information. Then, get started logging activities (including reading) to win prizes! Complete five activities to earn a badge. For the first five badges you earn, you’ll receive a small prize you can pick up in the Information Department. You’ll also receive a virtual ticket to enter our grand prize drawings with every badge you earn.
Teen grand prizes include:
- A $50.00 Target gift card
- A "Winter Shell-A-Bration" Gift Basket
- A LEGO Statue of Liberty model set
In Beanstack, click on the ticket reward button to choose which grand prize drawing you would like to enter.

Adults Ages 18 and Up
