Circulation and Checkout Area Remodeling Project

Beginning Mon., January 22, 2024, the Circulation and Checkout Area at the front of the library will be under construction through the end of March. This remodeling project will improve your checkout experience and help the Circulation Department streamline how they process inter-library loans. Interruption of library service will be minimized as much as possible. The Checkout Desk, self-checkout stations, return bins, and holds pickup will be temporarily relocated during construction, and the Drive-Up Window will be closed. The children's floor will not be affected by the remodel.

Where can I check out materials?
The Checkout Desk is located temporarily at the Information Services Desk, which is in the center of the library, on the first floor.

Where are the self-checkout stations?
Self-checkout stations are located temporarily at the patron computer stations near the Information Services Desk, which is in the center of the library, on the first floor.

Where can I pick up my holds?
Holds pickup has been temporarily relocated to the shelves near the Information Services Desk. You may pick up your own holds and bring them to the Checkout Desk, or you can ask for assistance at the desk.

Where can I return my items?
Look for the return bin near the Information Desk, which is in the center of the library, on the first floor. The outdoor Book Return is temporarily located at the front doors.

Is the Drive-Up Window open?
The Drive-Up Window is closed. However curbside pickup is available near the front of the library. The outdoor Book Return is temporarily located at the front doors.

Is Curbside Pickup available?
Curbside Pickup will be moved to the front of the library. Park in one of the designated spaces near the front of the library, call (330) 688-3295 ext. 3, and have your ID or library card ready.

When will the project be finished?
Work is projected to be finished in late spring.

How is this project being funded?
Money was allocated and set aside from the library's annual budget.
